Backing Up The Forum

Postby chip » Thu Dec 22, 2016 12:22 am

Would anyone be interested in receiving a weekly or daily backup of the forum database just in case something happens to me? It's currently backed up to two sites but another custodian would be greatly appreciated.

I would be interested in that. I'll be away until mid-january, so we can set something up then.

What's your preferred means of sending the backup copy?

Ok, I'm back from the holidays. Thanks for the interest, I think doing an rsync over ssh would be the best for consistency. Push / Pull is up to whoever wants to take the backups.
